This is a series of paintings on paper. They were painted as one large painting and then cropped into squares and rectangles. I painted them as part of an exercise where you work very quickly, using a minimal palette and a variety of marks. They are made spontaneously without judgement. That contributes to their energy and aliveness.

Each piece is matted and framed into a 20” x 16” wooden frame with glass. Because of the glass it is preferred to pick up or to have me drop it off.
