A Holiday Art Market is back! The gallery is filled with original, handmade work including painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, collage, mixed media, works on paper, blankets, woodturning, hand painted cards, sculptures, metal art, glass, puzzles, tea towels, Buddha Boards, and more. As always, there is a focus on work that is $400 and under for the holiday season. Please join us for the opening reception Saturday, November 16th from 2-4 p.m. to meet the artists, see the gallery team, have a little sip of wine, and celebrate the upcoming season!
Into the Now
This ever-popular, year-end show inspires our creative patronship to create a submission based on a given theme. “Into the Now” is an open-ended and versatile theme that’s sure to ignite diverse, thoughtful responses.
Whether it’s “living in the now” or being relevant to the present, contemporary art has a way of making an impact on our lives in a relative way. This year’s theme seeks to explore the emotive dimensions of visual culture.
Please join us for our opening reception and awards ceremony on Thursday, December 12th, beginning at 7:00 pm at Station Gallery. Awards will be presented to the top three entrants from each category.
The Holiday Show, Gerrard Art Space

Making Marks: Cherie Daly
A solo show of Cherie Daly’s abstract work at the MELT Studio + Gallery’s Focus Gallery. I have titled the show “Making Marks” because my primary joy in painting non-objectively comes from making marks and responding to them. While an abstract painter needs to consider the “principles of design”- harmony, variety, contrast, balance, rhythm, and movement, the process to achieve this is often one of trial and error, putting on and taking off, working from intuition, not a plan.
Opening August 17, 2024 from 1 to 4
Salon 18
Salon 18 will celebrate Propeller’s 28 years of supporting and exhibiting both our Member's and artists from our local art communities.
The gallery walls will be filled salon-style!

Big Ideas Show, Waterloo
Opening Day JULY 11, 2024 AT 10AM
"The Big Ideas Show". This exhibition was conceived several years ago to make original artwork accessible to a broader audience. Each piece in the show measures at least 30”x30" and is priced at $1,500.00 or less, ensuring that clients can acquire substantial, high quality local art without the restrictive price tag.
Abstract Show
In the heart of the Kawarthas you might not expect to find contemporary abstract art, but this July and August, I will be bringing my quirky, colorful abstracts to the Colborne Street Gallery. This contemporary art gallery is located in downtown Fenelon Falls. The Gallery is part of a design service and home decor shop owned by Tim Wisener and Chris Van Lierop.
Abyss!
The “ABYSS” show at the Twist Gallery will feature only abstract artists. It should be fabulous. Opening will be July 4th from 6 to 9 pm.
ART ANNEX, BRACEBRIDGE
I will be bringing my abstract art to the ART ANNEX, 27 Manitoba St. Bracebridge beginning on Canada Day. Come and enjoy my bright pieces and see if one or more will brighten up your cottage or home.
