Cherie Daly and Lynda Lynn will be showing their abstract paintings in Abstract Encounters at MAC on Main, 63 Manitoba Street, Bracebridge from April 18 to May 4, 2025. Opening night is Thursday, April 17th from 5 to 7 with an artists’ talk at 6 pm. Hosted by Muskoka Arts & Crafts.

Lynda Lynn and Cherie Daly both paint in an abstract style. Although their styles vary, the paintings evolve by drawing inspiration from nature and love of the landscape. The focus is not on a realistic translation, but more on emotion, colour, spirit, and intensity of their feelings, creating a less literal view.
